Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering above a popular coastal coastline abruptly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Recordings shared on social media depict the helicopter starting to spin above the shoreline then plunging in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm groves and a steps near the Pacific Coast highway.
Rescue Operation Details
Local firefighters reported five persons were rushed to the hospital including a pair who were in the aircraft and were âextracted safely from the crash siteâ following the accident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their condition were not immediately available.
