England Squad Revealed: Jude and Phil Left Out, Saka Makes Comeback
Thomas Tuchel has chosen to retain the identical Three Lions selection that secured victory against their previous opponents and produced a stellar performance in Serbia last month, leaving no room for the Real Madrid star and Phil Foden in his selection for the forthcoming friendly against the Welsh side and the World Cup qualifier in Latvia.
Although Foden pushing for a return to the squad after regaining his top condition at Manchester City, and Jude Bellingham having made a comeback for Real Madrid following shoulder surgery, the head coach has opted not to including two of the nation's most prominent attacking talents. The young midfielder has started only once for his team since his return.
The England boss has made room for Bukayo Saka, who is back to fitness and has been reinstated in place of his injured club colleague the sidelined player. The experienced attacker has not been handed a recall.

Tuchel expressed his admiration for the energy in last month's squad and seems intent on keeping the same atmosphere. The Newcastle defender, who started at left-back in the 5-0 win in Serbia, has dropped out due to a knee injury. Tuchel has opted against selecting a like-for-like substitute for the Magpies star but has included the Manchester City defender, who had to pull out previously. He has spoken about the Manchester City defender's significance for the national team and has floated the idea of deploying him in the middle of the park.
There is no place for the midfielder, who was selected last month but pulled out injured and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The manager stated: βIt was only three weeks since the last camp and the last win, the latest display, so the consideration was why not bring the same group in because they established a benchmark. The focus now is on building routines out of it. We have regrettably two injuries at the moment with Livramento and Noni and we bring of course the Arsenal forward in to replace Madueke. The defender was a last-minute addition last time; he will stay in camp.β
