Jet Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

A plane ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, per an announcement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The jet touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all passengers, such as Pete Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital at the time.

This event is not the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical problem.
